Good Buzz Educate

Good Buzz Educate is a seperate entity from our theatrical productions. Here we offer workshops and classes to school, universtities, work places etc...

 

All our facilitators have receieved formal acting training and are also qualified to create and lead workshops tailored for your specific needs!

Playing Shakespeare

Lasting the length of a double English class or a half day, this workshop is targeted at secondary school pupils.

The aim of the workshop is to teach pupils about Shakespeare from a different point of view. It's hands on, on your feet, crazy stupid fun AND it's educational!

 

The Facilitators' approach the texts from the actors point of view. We dissect characters, language and above all we show the students that Shakespeare need not be as boring as they first imagined.

 

Some of the techincal points we hit is;

  • Iambic pentameter

  • Anthesis

  • Parenthesis

  • Structure of words using the phonic alphabet

Human Dynamic workshops are designed with the newbies in mind.

 

The workshop focuses on team building exercises and ice breaking games to help a group gain a better appreciation for one another while having fun along the way.

 

Each workshop lasts a minimun of 1.5 hours and a maximum of two days.

 

Workshop rates vary from 70e per hour with discounts available for longer workshops.

Our Directors have a proven track record directing Secondary School productions.

 

Together they've worked with schools such as Cistercians College Roscrea and Rockwell College Tipperary as well as providing acting coaching to Loreto Abbey Dalkey.
